There will be debutantes in the second tier KRU Championship for the 2021/22 season following the conclusion of the semifinals on Saturday 13th November 2021.
The two debutantes are Shamas Rugby Foundation who edged Daystar Falcons 17-13 in their semifinal fixture at the RFUEA while Kabarak University scuttled Kitale’s dream of a return to the Championship with a last gasp 22-20 win over their hosts in Kitale.
The new second tier season is set for kick off on 27 November 2021.
