Five-time champion Tiger Woods is set to make a comeback in competitive golf at the 2022 Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.
The tournament is scheduled to start on Thursday, April 7, as the American golfer makes his return after a two-year hiatus.
Woods was forced out of the pitch after a car crash that resulted in almost career ending injuries.

The 46-year-old has expressed confidence that he will win the tournament despite his injuries.
"I don't have any qualms about what I can do physically from a golf standpoint... as of right now, I feel like I am going to play," Woods noted.
The renowned golfer noted that with the help of his team, including the doctors and physios, he is ready to make a comeback.
"I've worked hard. My team has been unbelievable. I've been lucky to have had great surgeons and great PTs and physios that have worked on me virtually every day. And we've worked hard to get to this point... It's been a tough, tough year," Woods narrated.
Woods underwent multiple surgeries on his right leg after the car crash back in February 2021.
The golfer made his debut at the tournament back in 1997 when he was just 21 years old, becoming the first non-white golfer to win the tournament.
He also noted that he will only retire once he feels like he cannot win anymore, adding that he still has more left in him.
