Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane, is set to join 2021-2022 Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, after the two clubs reached an agreement on the transfer of the Senegalese international.

However, the cost is set to rise past the Ksh5 billion mark due to add-ons depending on the number of appearances and performance.

Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, stated that the Liverpool forward will sign a three-year deal with Bayern in the coming days after returning from international duty.
"The contract is already set to be signed, valid until June 2025. Liverpool wanted to sign Nunez in order to approve Sadio’s departure," he stated.
The breakthrough in the deal came days after Liverpool signed talented Benfica youngster Darwin Nunez at a fee of Ksh9.2 billion.
Mane was the primary target for Bayern this season having made an earlier bid to the reds late last month and was rejected as it did not match their valuation.
Jurgen Klopp was also hesitant to let Mane go having been among their top scorers since joining the Mersey side team in 2016.
The Senegalese scored 166 goals in the just concluded English Premier League (EPL).
"Things will take time. We need the time, obviously. They're (the club) are interested in development, as well, not just in delivering immediately," he stated
However, Sane requested the club to release him so that he could experience the German league.
