Shujaa was handed a 22-7 defeat by Argentina in a round of 16 matches at the Cape Town Stadium in South Africa.
The defeat means saw Shujaa eliminated from cup contention at the 2022 Rugby World Cup 7s.
Shujaa will thus play Scotland in the Challenge Trophy Quarters on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 1:30 pm EAT.

Shujaa had advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Tonga 19-0 at the pre-round of 16 match.
In their match against Argentina, Shujaa was 15-0 behind during the first half, after the restart, Vincent Onyala made a try with Oliech converting for 15-7.
During the match, Shujaa’s Johnston Olindi was sent to the bin for preventing a kick restart from Argentina.
Shujaa captain Willy Ambaka noted that the team needed to be precise with their execution in the big matches.
“We just need to polish up and execute better because once you get to the big games it’s all about who’s going to execute well and who’s going to work well on and off the ball, both defence and attack.
“We must have to take it one game at a time and execute the little things right because they’re the things that make a big difference,” Ombaka stated.
