
The Kenya Federation of American Football has called out Kenyan media houses for not highlighting the national team's performances.
On Wednesday, November 30, the national governing body for Kenya's American Football through their social media complained of less coverage despite the team performing well.
Kenya's American Football team was in Uganda on November 25, for the African Zone Series, a championship that was started four years ago.

“Monday night, November 28, the team traveled back to Kenya. Three days later and no media station has highlighted nor congratulated the team besides being aware of the tournament and the results.
Kenya Federation of American Football would like to bring this milestone to your attention. Join us to congratulate the East Africa Champions,” the statement read.
The Uganda American Football Federation (AFFA) was hosting the event that took place between Friday, November 25 to Sunday, November 27 for the first time.
According to the Kenyan federation, the Kenyan High Commission in Kampala mobilized Kenyans in Uganda on short notice to go offer support to the team.
The Kenyan team, the White Rhinos, played well and won 6 – 0 against the Gladiators of Uganda despite being on foreign soil.
The team was invited by the High Commission on Monday, November 28, for a luncheon to celebrate their win before departing back to the country.
American Football started in Kenya in 2012 with the University of Nairobi being the pioneer. Kenya is among the few African countries whose federation is fully recognized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).
