
Kenya Men's Rugby 7s began its campaign at the Cape Town 7s with a 5-19 loss to Argentina at the Cape Town Stadium.
Shujaa played Argentina in their Pool C opening fixture on Friday, December 9.
Argentina headed into the break with a 12-0 lead courtesy of Agustin Fraga’s brace and Tobias Wade's conversion.

Late into the second half, Shujaa’s Denis Abukuse made a try. However, Manuel Molinuevo killed Kenya's hopes for a comeback with a converted try.
In the other Pool C match, Spain handed New Zealand a 14-10 loss.
Shujaa’s next fixture will be on Saturday morning, December 10, against New Zealand at 10:07 am before facing Spain at 3:26 pm.
In Pool C, Shujaa trail at fourth with one point followed by New Zealand. Argentina tops the group with joint points as Spain.
Shujaa was ranked 14th in the 2023 World Rugby Series having picked six points in its two outings in Hong Kong and Dubai.
The Kenya 7s team will avoid being ranked 15th by the tenth round, which will take them to relegation.
Shujaa has had quite a difficult start to the season with financial constraints which led to the players seeking assistance from well-wishers.
The fund drive created by the players has seen Ksh476,606 raised by 316 supporters with 72 days left.
