Arsenal joined Manchester City and Liverpool in setting Premier League history after a New Year's Eve win.
The league leaders became the fifth side in English top-flight history to pick up as many as 43 points from the first 16 games in a season.
Their London rivals Tottenham did so during the 1960-61 season while Chelsea did so in 2005-06, Manchester City achieved the milestone in 2017-18 and Liverpool in 2019-20.

The Gunners crossed the year with a seven-point lead after a 4-2 win at Brighton.
After the win, manager Mikel Arteta expressed the joy his players gave him for their reaction during that match.
"My excitement comes from going into the dressing room when the players are talking about what they should have done better today. That means that they know that we can still play better and be better and against Newcastle, we have to be better," Arteta highlighted.
Arteta also praised the team's captain Martin Odegaard for scoring a goal and setting up another.
The Gunners boss noted that Odegaard was doing what the management wanted him to do, deciding football matches.
During the clash Arsenal's entire front four players Eddie Nketia, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Odegaard scored.
Arteta added that he wants the front four to decide football matches when the team needs it.
Arsenal's next match will be against Newcastle on Tuesday, January 3, 2022. The win handed them relief after second placed Manchester City drew 1-1 with Everton.
