Michael Olunga Foundation (MOFA) U-17 team is expected to participate in the Gothia Cup in Sweden beginning July 2023.
MOFA U-17 team will participate in the Gothia PUMA Trophy 2023, a tournament arranged by Gothia Cup and Swedish Football League Association (SEF).
According to the tournament organisers, Gothia Cup Invitational will take place during the Gothia World Youth Cup tournament.

In the invitation letters sent to Mofa on January 11, 2023, the Gothia Cup Invitational will be a professional tournament with only high-quality international youth teams.
The tournament will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden from July 16 to 22, 2023.
Teams have been advised to register a maximum of 18 male players born on January 1, 2006.
Only 24 teams will participate in the tournament with half coming from Sweden with the rest slots shared among Europe and the rest of the world.
Participating teams will be placed into groups of four whereby all will play each other in a round-robin series.
The winner and the second team in each group will head to A-playoff. The third and fourth place plays B-playoff.
Right to Dream from Ghana was the 2022 winner of the tournament.
