
World Athletics announced the entry list for the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Bathurst 23 with a total of 453 elite runners from 50 teams.
One of the biggest clashes is expected when Kenyan Geoffrey Kamworor takes on the Ugandan duo of Joshua Cheptagei and Jacob Kiplimo.
The global event will take place in Australia on Saturday, February 18, with 134 male participants and 102 women.

In the women's field, World 10,000m champion Letesenbet Gidey will seek to earn her first senior world cross-country title in the women’s race.
Gidey will face tough opposition from Kenya’s Beatrice Chebet and Eritrea’s Rahel Daniel.
Also taking part in the event, 150 individuals (81 men, 73 women) will be in action in the U20 races.
The under-20 races will also take place where World U20 champions Medina Eisa of Ethiopia, Faith Cherotich and Reynold Cheruiyot of Kenya to participate in.
Another event scheduled will be the mixed relay which has 15 teams registered.
Title holder Ethiopia will defend their position led by world and Olympic steeplechase finalist Getnet Wale.
Leading the Kenyan team will be Steeplechase world record-holder Beatrice Chepkoech.
World Athletics that the final start lists will be available on Friday, February 17, a day before the official race.
