Shujaa and Lioness Emirates Invitationals Squads unveiled

The Kenya 7s national team men and women are part of the teams that had received invitations to the Emirates invitational 7s a competition which will be held in Dubai from 26th March to 11th April in support for the teams that will be taking part in Tokyo 2021 Olympics.

The 2 weeks competitive training camp will include 14 teams across the world where each one of them will play and have training sessions behind closed doors.

Today through The Kenya Rugby Union the 7s national team both Shujaa and Lionesses head coaches unveiled a 16 man squad that would be on duty in Dubai.

Shujaa Head Coach Innocent Simiyu through Kenya Rugby Union stated that `the team is looking forward to working on their set pieces ,game plays off their set pieces and sharpening their defence system'. Simiyu also remains hopeful that the Emirates invitational 7s would help the team gain some match fitness ahead of their olympic task in Tokyo as from 23rd July 2021.
