Vihiga Bullets will join FC Talanta come next season once they begin a new campaign in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League. Bullets eaned the promotion after beating Kibera Black Stars 2-0 in the National Super League final. The win also saw them finish the season 2nd with 64 points
Kenya Police on the other hand secured the playoff spot after a 2-1 win against Migori Youth. They will face off against Vihiga United to see who gets the final slotted chance of gracing the Kenyan top flight next season
FC Talanta were also officially crowned Betika National Super League Champions after completing the season with top points. The Ceremony happened today September 5th at the Gems Cambridge School.
Talanta lifted the title after a great season under coach Ken Kenyatta. The Communications Authority-sponsored side had an unassailable eight-point lead ahead of their final match of the season and had a super easy Sunday afternoon after their opponents Gusii United failed to turn up for the match. With that, Talanta was awarded 3 points hence ending the season on 72 points.
