FKF Premier League side Bandari FC have signed four new signings ahead of the new season.
Goalkeeper Joseph Okoth has rejoined the side after a successful stint at KCB, Ugandan Rodgers Aloro from Tusker, Whyvonne Isuza from Wazito and left back Boniface Mwangemi has signed from Kariobangi Sharks.
Speaking at the Mbaraki grounds, Bandari FC vice-chairman Bernard Osero says the new additions will help them chase for their first ever league title after finishing third last season.
“You always receive everything you need from KPA and we have agreed that we want the title this season,” said Osero.
The club which has fallen short of expectations in the recent past despite massive investment in the squad hired former AFC Leopards coach Andre Casa Mbungo in February and he together with his assistant Anthony Kimani are promising ‘a different season’ especially with the new acquisitions.
“We have brought these four here but we are targeting others so that we can score as well as defend going forward.”
The dockers had earlier released eight players to pave way for new blood.
“We want every player to get more time and experience either on loan or permanent because everyone deserves better,” added Mbungo.
