Barely a week after the start of the new season, the 2021/2022 Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) campaign is set for an eighteen-day break.
This past weekend, the new season got underway with all eighteen teams taking part in the nine matches played across different venues in the country. In fixtures released by the country’s football governing body for matchday 2, the league is expected to resume on Friday, 15th October with two fixtures taking centre stage on that day.
The day will see 2 fixtures taking centre stage; Kariobangi Sharks vs Gor Mahia FC at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi (1p.m). The second match up sees Posta Rangers take on newly promoted Vihiga Bullets FC at Thika Stadium (3p.m).
