McGregor continues his recovery from injury and has started to train, as his plan to return to the UFC next year.

Conor was pictured in incredible shape after posting on social media with his UFC comeback trail continuing.

The Irish star is continuing his rehabilitation from a broken leg injury which put a stop to his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier in the opening round.

McGregor has posted updates throughout his recovery and is looking for a return to action in the middle of next year.

His latest post displayed him showing off his latest ripped physique, with fans describing him being in incredible shape.

McGregor is likely to be focused on a career rebirth after suffering back-to-back defeats against bitter rival Poirier.

He has also recorded just one win since 2016 when he defeated journeyman Donald Cerrone with a comfortable opening round dismissal.

Despite the poor recent record, McGregor has vowed to make the greatest comeback of all time and has now returned to light boxing training and physical conditioning.

The Irish star has demanded an immediate title shot on his return and is also keen to pursue a fourth fight with Poirier before the end of his cage journey.

With two fights on his current contract, this could be possible in his second fight, but he is likely to face a lower-ranked candidate first.

However, the 33-year-old has been warned he will return to a different landscape after his injury and will face a difficult task to return to his elite previous levels.
