FKF Premier League Returns After Three Weeks of Uncertainty

The FKF Premier League returns this weekend with several matches on the cards. Saturday sees five matches on the roll with two early kick offs. 

There will be two early kick off matches on Saturday as  Nairobi City Stars will be hosting Kariobangi Sharks at Ruaraka grounds as Bidco United will be welcoming AFC Leopards at Thika Stadium at 1pm. 

 

City Stars v Kariobangi Sharks 

Nairobi City Stars who had an impressive run in the league welcome in-form Kariobangi Sharks at Ruaraka grounds in what is expected to be a high scoring match. Both teams have been in fine form. 

Sharks are second in the league as City Stars are third with both having 13 points after playing six matches.  

City Stars in their past six matches have had W4 D1 L1 as Sharks have W4 D1 L1. 

Last season both teams took three points from each other as Sharks won the first leg with a 2-1 score with City Stars winning the second leg with a similar scoreline. 

 

Bidco United v AFC Leopards  

AFC will be aiming to end their four-match losing streak away to Bidco United on Saturday at 1pm. 

Prior to the break, Ingwe had suffered four losses in a row. After winning and drawing against Tusker and KCB respectively. 

Patrick Aussems side are currently positioned 14 in the FK premier League with four points in six games played so far as Bidco are 11th. 

Leopards in the six games played have been able to, W1 D1 L4 with Bidco having W1 D3 L2. 

In their last match last season, the Oilers were successful as they beat Leopards 3-1. 

 

Nzoia Sugar v Kakamega  Homeboyz  

Nzoia Sugar will follow when they host Kakamega Homeboyz at Sudi Stadium as they try to save themselves from entering the relegation zone. 

Nzoi who are position 16 in the league with only two points will try to disappoint Homeboyz who are position five with 13 points. 

In the six games played Nzoia have been able to, W0 D2 L4 with Homeboyz having W4 D1 L0. 

 

Wazito FC v Ulinzi Stars 

Wazito and Ulinzi Stars will clash at Kasarani. Wazito will be hoping to get three points from the 6th positioned Ulinzi to leave the relegation. 

Ulinzi are in good form as they have suffered no lose so far this season having W3 D3 L0 with Wazito having played six matches with W0 D2 L4 

 

Mathare United v FC Talanta 

Mathare  United and FC Talanta are also scheduled to play on Saturday At Kasarani. 

The new boys in the league FC Talanta have had a good start in the league with them being positioned ninth with nine points. 

Mathare who are 12 in the league have had a slow start in the season with them losing their previous two matches in the league. 

FC Talanta in the past six matches have, W2 D3 L1 with their opponents Matahre having W2 D0 L4.
