
Former Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has been appointed as the Cameroon national team assistant manager.
In a statement released by the Cameroon football federation on Monday 28th February 2022, Rigobert Song will head the Indomitable Lions replacing Toni Conceicao and he will be assisted by Migne
The changes on the bench were effected by the Cameroonian Football Federation on Monday evening after the team failed to win AFCON on home soil. Toni Conceição exits paving way for Song who has previously handled the Cameroon U23 team and the national CHAN team.

Song played alongside Samuel Eto'o, now Cameroon FA President, during a chequered international career, whose highlights include the continental title triumphs in 2000 and 2002.
The Portuguese tactician led the five-time-African Champions to a third spot finish in the concluded 2021 African Cup of Nations.
Migne will work under Rigobert Song and their first assignment will be to lead the Indomitable Lions as they play Algeria later this month in a two-legged final phase with the winner heading to Qatar for FIFA World Cup 2022 later this year.
The French tactician was in charge of Kenya between 2018 and 2019 and is best remembered for leading Kenya to the African Cup of Nations in 2019 after a 15-year absence in the AFCON tournament following their memorable wins over Ethiopia and Ghana.
Kenya exited the tournament on the group stage with three points finishing in a third-place behind Algeria and Senegal
Migne has also coached Congo and Equatorial Guinea national teams and the South African club, Marumo Gallants.
Other notable members of Song’s backroom staff include legends, Raymond Kalla and Augustine Simo.
