Arsenal's owners confirmed that they do not plan to sell the Premier League club despite the intense backlash from the fans who have been protesting outside the Emirates following their involvement in the breakaway European Super League.
That has however not deterred Daniel Ek who claims to have been an Arsenal fan since childhood and the 38-year-old Spotify owner has vowed to press ahead with his bid to buy the entire club.
The club is currently enduring a tough time in the league and off the pitch their financial condition is deteriorating day by day due to the global pandemic.
The English club has also had an ugly season as it has been recording dismal performance in the almost ending season which sees them placed at 10th position. The poor performance by the club in the recent seasons has triggered anger on the die hard fans who have used that as a reason to rebel against its owners.
The “KroenkeOut” slogan has found its voice once again after the American owners tried joining the European Super League and was against the will of the fans. Daniel Ek, the Swedish billionaire is set to take advantage of the situation and is willing to buy the North London club.
Reports have further stated that the Spotify owner has the support of club legends Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira, who have all shown an interest in acquiring stakes in the club.
Despite the interest showcased by the Swedish billionaire ,the Kroenke Family has now issued a firm confirmation statement to dispute any rumours of a takeover insisting that they will not entertain any offer and have focused on improving the competitiveness on the pitch.
There is a realistic chance for Arsenal to win the Europa League as they take a trip to Spain and clash with La Liga side, Villarreal. Following this, they face the Newcastle United test at St James Park over the weekend.
