Pogba’s House Burgled as He Played Atletico

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has revealed that his home was burgled while he was playing against Atletico Madrid. 

Pogba broke the news through his twitter handle, adding that the invasion happened while his children were asleep.

On Tuesday, March 15, Manchester United welcomed Atletico Madrid at Old Trafford for a champions League fixture, suffering a 1-0 defeat.

"Last night our family's worst nightmare was realised when our home was broken into and burglarized while our babies were sleeping in their bedroom," he narrated.

During that match, the French international was introduced in the second half hoping he would inspire a win for United. 

The 29-year-old midfielder notes that his wife, Maria Zulay Salaues, was in the stands watching him play.

Pogba noted that the buglers were in the house for less than five minutes.

"The burglars were in our home for less than five minutes but in that time they took from us something more valuable than anything we had in our home... our sense of safety and security." 

The Manchester United star noted that upon notification of he incident, they rushed to their home.

"My wife and I rushed home not knowing if our children were safe and unharmed. As a father, there is no feeling worse in this world than not being there to protect your children and I sincerely hope that no one ever has to feel what I felt last night. 

"It is for this reason that I would like to offer a reward for anyone who has a clue to help us,” his post read.
