
Kenya’s tennis teen star Angela Okutoyi and her Polish partner Malwina Rowinska won the Girls Doubles in the J1 Repentigny tournament in Canada.
The two defeated Ella Seidel from Germany and Amelia Waligora from Belgium after coming back to win the last two sets (3-6, 6-2, 10-8).
Okutoyi and her partner advanced to the finals through a walkover after the Canadian duo of Ellie Daniels and Alexia Jacobs decided to quit and travel for the US Open.

This is Okutoyi’s second win in the doubles final with her first coming at the Wimbledon Opens girl's tournament where she partnered with Dutch tennis star Rose Marie Nijkamp.
The 18-year-old tennis player was using the J1 Repentigny tournament to build her confidence in the singles.
In the singles tournament, Okutoyi failed to advance past the third round after losing to Slovakian Ela NalaMilic.
Okutoyi is expected to fly to the US Open, where she is in the main draw at Flushing Meadows.
As she goes to the US Open Okutoyi hopes to meet her tennis idol Serena Williams who will retire after the event.
The US Open will be Okutoyi’s fourth grand slam event.
