In Boxing, the fighters gain popularity after showing exemplary skills in the ring. Boxers also use tactical intimidations and scuffles to throw off their opponents from the game.

However, that’s not the case for one Tanzanian boxer, Karim Mandonga, who has been trending on the internet with his hilarious pre and post-bout interviews.

Mandonga also displays some signature stunts, including punching trees with bare hands and running with heavy logs to intimidate his opponents.

The 43-year-old boxing sensation went viral after he boasted about how he would defeat his opponent before suffering a knockout during the fight.

Mandonga always maintains his pride whether he losses or wins, to the extent of even doing crazy stunts as if he has won.

In his latest bout against fellow compatriot Salim Abeid, Mandonga maintained his pre-match intimidation, sending a warning to Salim.

However, when the match took place, Mandonga was sent sprawling on the canvas in the fourth round and lost the bout.

His post and pre-match pressers have made him rise to celebrity status quickly. The boxer, however, has a few wins to his name.

Various artists from Tanzania have also taken the step to compose and produce songs praising the boxer.
