Football fans have witnessed special moments at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 off and on the pitch.

However, after the match, a young child from Croatia brightened the moment when he ran into the pitch to console Neymar.

Croatian forward Ivan Perisic's son stepped aside from the celebrations to console Brazil's number 10.

He was initially stopped, but Neymar embraced him.

Neymar, who scored Brazil's first goal in the game, became the joint top scorer in the history of the nation with 77 goals alongside Pele.

Brazil became the 13th side to go 1-0 up in extra-time of a World Cup knockout stage match, but the first of those 13 to be eliminated.

After the loss, Brazils head coach Tite stepped down from his role as the Seleçao manager.

With the win, Croatia progressed to the Semifinals and will face Argentina on Tuesday, December 13, for a place in the Finals.
