Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo changed his agent to Futbol Division amid speculations of a move away from American Express Community Stadium.

As confirmed by the agency on Monday, January 23, on its social media pages, Caicedo will now have his transfer matters catered for by a Spain-based agency.

According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Caicedo will be under Manuel Sierra (Futbol Division) and Ali Barat.

“We are very proud to announce the World Class Player, Moises Caicedo as a new player represented by Futbol Division (FD).

“Be welcome Moises! We hope to achieve even greater challenges together,” Futbol Division statement read.

Fellow Ecuadorian player and Bayer Leverkusen star Piero Hincapie is also under the Spanish agency.

Reports indicate that Arsenal would want to sign the 21-year-old midfielder after signing former Brighton midfielder Leandro Trossard.

However, Chelsea will be looking to beat Arsenal to the race following their big money transfer of Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk.

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has insisted on the team's desire to have Caucedo at the club for the remainder of the season.

The January transfer window opened on Sunday, January 1, 2023, and closes on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, before midnight.
