
Lee Mason was excluded from Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties for matchday 24 in the Premier League.
This follows his mistake after he failed to spot an offside for Brentford's equaliser against Arsenal on Saturday, February 11.
Mason who is a former on-field referee was working in the VAR department.

Premier League announced the matchday 24 official with Mason not being among the officials set to take charge of VAR.
Earlier in the 2022/23 season Mason was not selected in the round after he made another high-profile error when he disallowed a goal for Newcastle in their home match against Crystal Palace on September 3.
On Monday, February 13, John Brooks was removed from officiating the Merseyside derby and the upcoming match between Arsenal and Manchester City on Wednesday, February 15.
According to reports, referee's chief Howard Webb called a meeting of Premier League officials for Tuesday, February 14, following two high-profile offside errors.
John Brooks will be back in action as was announced as the fourth official for Arsenal’s trip to Aston Villa on Saturday, February 18.
Another official who has been dropped from duties is VAR referee Neil Swarbrick.
Swarbrick was on officiating duties during Chelsea's draw against West Ham which saw a controversial decision take place when no penalty was awarded after Tomas Saucek was seen handling the ball in the box.
