Gor Mahia striker Benson Omalla has terminated his loan stint with Swedisha Division One side FC Linkoping citing frustrations

The 18-year-old Omala had penned down a six-month loan deal with the club in what was regarded as ‘a dream move’ for the Kenya international.

However, things have not worked out for the former Western Stima man who made only five appearances for Linkoping. Initially he was scheduled to stay at the club for six months but it hasn’t been the case.

According to the our sources, Omalla did not receive what was expected and ‘he felt shortchanged in the deal’

His debut came on May 9 when he made a substitute appearance against Qviding FIF, a game they lost 3-1.

Omalla will now link up with parent club Gor Mahia who are chasing for a season double beginning with an FKF Cup semi-final against Bidco on Sunday at Utalii Grounds.
