Wazito FC are on a steady slip in the Betking Premier League and things have not been going to plan for the team that many thought was ‘well assembled’ before the season started.
With massive transfer business at the end of last season and the appointment of Kenya’s finest coach Francis Kimanzi, the Yellow Submarine were in for something big.
Things have not been working for them though as they are tenth on the log, having occupied second spot at one point this season.
On Wednesday, they meet Kariobangi Sharks who are also having a bad run in form and recently got knocked out of the Betway FKF Cup by Gor Mahia.
Sharks will be hoping to capitalise on the off pitch issues affecting Kimanzi’s side.
In March, the celebrated gaffer lamented about poor preparations for matches and lack of motivation in the Wazito camp and this has been evident in the recent results as they have failed to win in their last five, losing three and drawing twice.

Kariobangi Sharks on the other hand have lost successive games and this also poses a threat to William Muluya as he faces his mentor at Utalii Grounds.
Sharks will however welcome the league’s leading scorer Eric Kapaito who has been out injured. Kapaito who has scored 14 goals this term will be hoping to add to his current tally and help his side earn maximum points against Wazito.
Sharks have a better head to head record heading into this match, winning in three and drawing one of their last four encounters.
