Kenya has risen 2 places to position 102 in the latest FIFA rankings.

Harambee Stars had an impressive run in the month of March as they were unbeaten and winning three of their five fixtures played.

Kenya began the month of March on a winning note, beating South Sudan 1-0 at Nyayo Stadium before silencing their East African neighbours Tanzania 2-1 days later at the same venue.

Kenya then went ahead and drew 1-1with the Pharaohs in their AFCON qualifiers held at Kasarani. In their final group stage fixture against Togo saw Kenyans bag in a 2-1 victory away in Togo.

Though Kenya did not make it to the AFCON 2021 after falling 2 points short beneath Comoros their outstanding month of March performance has seen the Kenyans record an average total point of 1205.26 from their 1187 which had them stuck at 104th position.

Harambee Stars still remain hopeful to rise ranks in the near future and be in the top 100 powerhouse football nations since they have shown potential in their style of play in their previous fixtures.

The rising of two positions up in the Fifa rankings will be a big boost to the Stars team as it will motivate the players in putting in more effort while on their international duty .
