Kenya International defender Musa Mohamed will terminate his contract with Zambia Super League side Lusaka Dynamos in the next two weeks if they don’t pay him his owed dues.

The 27-year-old has been in the country for over two weeks now and on Monday, he notified the board that he had intentions of terminating his contract with the club.

His agent Agustine Ramaita has been trying hard to convince Mohammed to stay at the club but it seems that the player has made up his mind.

Musa has told TeamKenya that the club hasn’t paid him for three months and they are not responding to his pleas.

“They paid me the first instalments of my salary in November, I insisted that they pay me three months upfront since I had smelt trouble. After the payment, i haven’t received any money from the club,”

“I came back to Nairobi during the international break using my own means, i sent a notification to the club to settle my dues, they did not respond,” Musa said.

“I have given them a 15-day notice if they don’t pay then I will take up the matter to the FIFA Player Status Committee (PSC.”

Another Kenya International Duncan Otieno is also facing uncertainty at the club  due to no-payment of his dues. Otieno who recently took part in the unsuccessful 2021 AFCON qualifying  campaign was until Monday waiting to be paid his dues stretching to over two months.

Both players were signed by the Dynamos from rivals Nkana FC. Otieno’s case though is slightly different for he was briefly re-signed by AFC Leopards but never kicked a ball for them before jumping ship to Lusaka Dynamos.
