One of the rules that have been put in place will require the players to refrain from any alcohol during a match week.

This will affect a number of players as United will be in action almost every week with a packed fixture ahead.

The new manager warned that players who will be late for training and meetings will be dropped from the lineup.

Manchester United players will also have weekly BMI checkups, this is to help keep the players' weight in check.

In relation to the BMI check-ups, the players are banned from having their own personal chefs. It has been reported that players will be expected to use the main team canteen at Carrington for their meals.

Players will have their unique food plan that the club will set and control in order to meet each one's needs.

Ten Haag has also instructed the players to channel their grievances directly to him instead of rushing to agents or media.

United are currently preparing for their pre-season tour to Thailand and Australia before the kick off on August 6.
