
A Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) football match in Lviv was halted four times as a result of multiple air raid sirens at Skif Stadium.
According to an email received by CNN from the UPL, the match took over four hours to conclude.
The League which resumed on August 23, made a comeback despite the Russian invasion of Ukraine, however, some safety measures such as air raid sirens were implemented.

The match between Rukh Lviv and Metalist Kharkiv was played on Wednesday, August 24, with Metalist winning the match 2-1.
That was the only league fixture that the air raid sirens have been used so far since the resumption.
"Safe and security measures are the main priority for us, so both teams had to go to the shelter every time, according to the available safety protocols.
“The overall time of the match was indeed 4 and half hours," the email from UPL read.
Videos of the events at the stadium have been making rounds on social media showing what reportedly happened when the sirens went off.
The Ukraine Premier league has implemented multiple safety measures to attempt to assure the safety of the players and the staff as they play with the ongoing invasion.
The measures include air raid sirens and bomb shelters which have been erected near the stadiums. Fans were also banned from the stadium.
