Omanyala finished second during the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver race held in Lucerne, Switzerland, Omanyala with a time of 10.18 seconds behind America's Marvin Bracy who finished with a time of 10.17.

Omanyala noted that he hopes to finish on a high note as he sets to break and focus on his family.
“I hope that my last race will be memorable and one that will close the season in style... Will relax and give my family their time because I have been up and down since February 2022,” Omanyala told TeamKenya.co.ke.
