Kenya 7s, Shujaa have been pooled in Group D ahead of the 2023 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series in Hongkong. 

The Hong Kong 7s which is slated to take place from November 4 to 6, is the opening tournament of the 2023 season. 

Shujaa who finished 12th in the 2021/2022 HSBC Sevens World Series with 49 points has been pooled with Argentina, Canada and Ireland.

The national sevens team's three group fixtures are grouped into two, one on Friday 4, November, against, Ireland, with the remaining two against Argentina and Canada on Saturday 5, November.  

The tournament will also witness Great Britain and Uruguay making their debut in Pool B which also has South Africa and France. 

Pool C will see Fiji, USA, Spain and Japan battle to proceed further in the opening tournament of the season. 

Pool A has host Hong Kong who will battle it out with 2021/2022 leaders Australia, New Zealand and Samoa.  

The fixture announcement of the Hong Kong series was followed by the announcement of the 2022/2023 season calendar.
