
Pamela Kosgei of Kenya won the Cardiff Cross Challenge, the first race of the world Athletics Cross Country season.
The 18-year-old - who is the sister of world marathon record-holder Brigid Kosgei won the race in a time of 20:21 minutes.
The Cardiff Cross Challenge was her first-ever race in Europe.

The race which took place on Saturday, October 15, in Cardiff, Wales saw British Amelia Quirk come in at second followed by Jessica Gibbon.
In the men's category former U20 world champion Edward Zakayo emerged victorious despite stiff competition from Ugandan duo Joel Ayeko and Rogers Kibet.
Zakayo's win came after finishing fourth in the 10,000m race at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in July.
The Cardiff Cross Challenge kicked off the 2022/2023 World Athletics Cross Country Tour season which will end on February 26, 2022.
The race event is also a part of the 2022/2023 British Athletics Cross Challenge Series which will take place on five different occasions.
