The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia produced one of the biggest shocks of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament currently ongoing in Qatar.

However, their joy was short lived since Saudi Arabia scored two quick goals early in the second half to stun the favourites.
Saleh Al-Shehri fired a low shot past the Argentine goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez, in the 48th minute to level the scores.
Five minutes later, Al Hilal striker Salem Al-Dawsari put Saudi Arabia in the driving seat when he swerved away from Argentina defenders before curling the ball into the back of the net.
Argentina were one game away from equaling the unbeaten record of 37 games that is currently held by Italy.
The last time La Albiceleste lost an international match was in July 2019, when they were beaten by their arch-rival Brazil.
The Lionel Scaloni coached side also broke another record in the competition after their humiliating defeat.
For the second time in the history of the World Cup, Argentina lost a match in which they were ahead in the first half.
The first time this happened was in the 1930 edition which was hosted by Uruguay.
