
Kenyan men glorious stood out at the 2022 Bahrain Half Marathon held on Friday, December 23, 2022.
Sebastian Kimaru Sawe defeated fellow countryman Daniel Simiu Ebenyo to win the Night Bahrain Half marathon title held this evening in Bahrain.
Kimaru, who was just fresh from winning the national Cross country title, dominated the race from the start to the finish.

Ebenyo came second and clocked 00:59.04 after staging a spirited fight behind his compatriot, Kimaru.
Ethiopian road race runner Yomif Kejelcha settled for a third-place finish ahead of Abraham Cheroben and Vincent Ngetich.
Kejelcha crossed the finishing line at 00:59.25 while Cheroben and Ngetich clocked 01:00.19 and 01:01.06 respectively.
Cheroben is a Kenyan-born speedster, who switched his allegiance to Bahrain.
In the women's category, the honors went to the 2022 BMW Berlin Marathon winner Tigist Assefa.
The Ethiopian athlete dominated the race and reached the tape at 00:67.40 ahead of Kenya's Winfridah Moseti and Agnes Ngolo.
Kimaru and Simiu are part of the Kenyan squad that will grace the upcoming World Cross Country Championships.
The eagerly awaited event is slated for Saturday, February 18, 2023, in Bathhurst, Australia.
