Newcastle manager Eddie Howe denied rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo joining his side if they qualified for the Champions League.
Ronaldo was unveiled as a Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr player on Tuesday, January 3, in the presence of 25,000 fans at the Mrsool Park in Riyadh.
Eddie Howe dismissed any possibility of the team acquiring the services of the 37-year-old forward.

“We wish Cristiano all the best in his new chapter, but there's no truth in that from our perspective”
“It’s not true that we have that kind of clause,” Eddie Howe stated.
In his first presser as an Al Nassr player, Ronaldo noted that he had conquered Europe and had shifted his focus on his new experience in the Middle East.
"In Europe, my work is done. I won everything and now this is a new challenge,” Ronaldo commented.
Ronaldo revealed he had been approached by other clubs all over the world including Portugal.
“I had many opportunities in Europe, Brazil, Australia, the US and even Portugal, many clubs tried to sign me, but I gave my word to this club,” Ronaldo stated.
