Harambee Starlets wingback Enez Mango has been appointed as a member of the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPRO).

“FIFPRO’s Global Player Council (GPC) has been strengthened with three new names.

“The arrival of Rasheedat Ajibade (Atletico Madrid/Nigeria), Enez Mango (Farul Constanta/Kenya), and Marshall Munetsi (Reims/Zimbabwe) brings the total number of players on the council to 34,” part of the statement from the organization read.

At FIFPRO, Mango would work alongside star players including Argentine World Cup winner Nicolas Tagliafico, and Italian great Giorgio Chiellini.

“Lucy Bronze, Giorgio Chiellini, Saki Kumagai, and Nicolas Tagliafico are among the players who sit on the council,” the statement ended.

Mango is tasked with ensuring the viewpoints of players from different corners of the world (both men and women) are heard.

Ex-Australian footballer Simon Colosimo, the deputy secretary general of FIFPRO, stated the organization is mandated to fight for the rights of footballers.

“The work of our members across the world in supporting players is absolutely crucial to the fabric of football.

"Their work ensuring that the rights and employment conditions for professional footballers are adhered to is fundamental to what FIFPRO strives to achieve globally," ended Colosimo.
