
Kenyan international Eric Johanna Omondi fine form continued on Monday night when he scored a brace either side of the half to help his side Jonkoping Sodra beat Akropolis 4-1 in the Swedish second division.
The win has propelled Omondi’s side to third on the league standings with 14 points, three behind leaders Varnamo.
Omondi’s brace took his tally to five for the season after nine matches, his best scoring record on Swedish soil.
The Kenya international got his first goal in the 11th minute of the game when he raced half the length of the pitch to score the first goal of the game. Niklas Lindqvist restored parity for the visitors in the 26th minute but Sodra who were on fire got their second through Adrian Edqvist.
Moustafa Zeidan extended Sodra’s lead in the 57th minute with Johana putting the icing on the cake in the 71st minute when slotted home from the near post to confirm the win
