Mwana Leaves Terminates his Bandari Contract

Bandari's Forward Yema Mwana who leaves the club after 5 years

Bandari football club have announced the departure of Guelord Mwamba also known as Yema Mwana from the club.

The Congolese Mwana, had one more year on his contract but he stated that he was eyeing for greener pastures.

"We have reached a mutual agreement with Yema Mwana. He had one more year to run on his contract, but following positive and constructive recent discussions with him and the club, he will be leaving for greener opportunities elsewhere. He has been an integral part of this team, we shall sincerely miss him," stated Bandari on their Twitter account.

The Congolese forward joined Bandari from Sony Sugar in August 2017 and made 72 appearances during his tenure, scoring 42 goals in all competitions and assisting several others.

In the current campaign, he netted three goals  against Posta Rangers, Western Stima, and Kakamega Homeboyz.

He made nine starts, mostly in the opening half of the season but fell down the pecking order at Bandari with Andre Casa Mbungo using him sparingly since he took over the reign of the club in January.

“Everyone at Bandari wishes Yema and his family well for the future,”concluded the Dockers official statement.
