The 2021/2021 Football Kenya Federation season kick off dates have been confirmed.

The new FKF Premier League season kicks off on September 25, 2021 and is expected to conclude on June 11, 2022.

Before the league kick off, Premier League champions Tusker FC and FKF Cup winners Gor Mahia are set to battle for the first silverware of  the upcoming season when they meet in the Super Cup on September  22 at the Thika Sub-County Stadium.

With the 2020/21 season having ended just over a month ago, clubs will have to cope up with yet another tough season that has come closer than ever.

Two weeks of preseason and an open transfer window period will surely test the 18 clubs' resilience as action starts across different venues across the country.

In the fixtures released on Thursday evening, 13-time champions AFC Leopards host Tusker FC on September 26 in a high-profile match to be played at the Nyayo stadium.

This is a fixture that might have come at the worst possible time for Ingwe who are currently struggling to assemble a team after massive departures of their key players. A two-window transfer ban plus massive debts owed to former players and coaches has dominated headlines in the Den and they will be hoping that luck smiles their way in the first few weeks as they put the house in order.

In other notable fixtures on matchday one, newly promoted side Talanta will take on Wazito FC with 19-time champions Gor Mahia taking on KCB at Kasarani Stadium.

The biggest clash of the season takes place in round three with AFC Leopards hosting Gor Mahia at the Nyayo stadium.
