Bandari FC have arrived in Nairobi ahead of their FKF Kenyan Premier League match against Gor Mahia Sunday, December 12, at Kasarani.
Bandari will hope to continue their four game unbeaten run as they visit the record Kenya Premier League champions.
Bandari held their first training session at the Gohan Institute with the majority of the squad fully fit except for two players.
Head coach, Andre Cassa Mbungo told TeamKenya that the team has some injuries ahead of their premier league clash.
“There are two injuries in the team, Darius Msagha is sidelined with a hamstring injury while Abdallah Hassan had a knock but is expected to train tomorrow.”
“Bernard Odhiambo has been cleared by the doctor to full training and has resumed full training,” Mbugo stated.
The captain was sidelined by an ankle injury and has fully recovered.
“The mood at the camp is full of energy and motivation heading towards regaining the glory after a stale draw against KCB,” the coach added
Head-to-head, Gor Mahia have 10 wins with both drawing thrice with Bandari getting only two wins.
Bandari in their previous match denied KCB the chance to go top, holding the bankers to a 0-0 draw at the Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa.
The result saw them remain seventh on 14 points off four wins, two draws and a single loss.
Gor Mahai’s 3-0 win over bottom of the table Vihiga Bullets at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega put them at the top of the league at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
