1. Victor Wanyama
Victor Wanyama is currently the most successful footballer in Kenya. Having played for several top clubs in the world.
Wanyama played for Southampton for three years between 2013 and 2016 before signing for Tottenham Hotspur where he played 69 times before being released to the MLS side, Montreal Impact in 2020.
Wanyama is also the first Kenyan footballer to score in the UEFA champions in 2012, for Celtic, in a 2-1 win over Barcelona.
His current transfer value is estimated at Ksh648 million (€5.00m).
2. Michael Olunga
Michael Olunga is a prolific footballer who has established himself as a player with outstanding goal-scoring ability.
The Harambee Stars captain has hit various milestones in his football career, being the first Kenyan Footballer and Girona player to ever score a hat-trick in the Spanish La Liga.
Olunga has featured for several teams across the world with him being the top scorer in the Japanese second division in 2020 with 27 goals.
Currently, the 27-year-old Al-Duhail striker's transfer value is estimated at Ksh907 million.
3. Joseph Okumu
Joseph Okumu is currently playing for Belgium side KAA Gent after signing a four-year contract until 2025.
The Kenyan defender signed a long-term contract to feature for the Belgian side after sealing the transfer from Swedish side IF Elfsborg.
Before his move to Gent, it was reported that clubs such as Lorient and Reims of France, and Rangers FC and Celtic of Scotland were interested in signing him.
The young defender is estimated to be worth Ksh491 million in the transfer market.
4. Eric ‘Marcelo’ Otieno
Marcelo is an outstanding Kenyan player renowned for his ultimate show of skill and prowess.
The 25-year-old Kenyan who is currently playing for Swedish side AIK has had the privilege of playing in major leagues across America and Europe
In February 2018, he moved to the Albanian side KS Kastrioti before moving to the Swedish club Vasalund in September in the same year.
Eric has also been targeted by top European clubs such as Leicester City, Brighton and Hove Albion and Atalanta.
The utility player who hails from Kibera slums, Nairobi is currently valued at Ksh194 million.
5. Ayub Timbe Masika
Ayub Timbe is a Kenyan professional footballer who is currently playing for Thailand's First Tier side Buriram United.
The 28-year-old winger has played for different teams across the globe such as Reading FC and Beijing Renhe FC.
The Kenyan international is valued at Ksh51 million in the transfer market.
