Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has come out to reveal that the club has barred him from speaking to Italian Media.
This came after he did an interview with Sky Sports Italia discussing the level of his team after making two January signings.
In his interview with Sky Sports Italia earlier in the week, Conte had stated that his squad was ‘maybe, on paper, weakened’ after the acquisition of two players and then releasing four of their players in the January 2022 transfer window.

The former Chelsea and Inter Milan coach clarified his statements on Friday, February 18 accusing the media of trying to create a rift between him and the club's management.
The Italian stated that his comments were taken out of context and added that he was enjoying his time at the London based football club and he was comfortable with his players.
Conte revealed that as a result of his previous interview with the Italian Media misinterpreting his comments, the club does not want him to speak to the Italian press.

He further accused the Media of trying to create a rift between him and club chairman Daniel Levy.
“I think I was very, very clear. I do not understand why someone wants to try to create a problem with me. Not only me but also in the past.
“The chairman knows my thoughts very well. Sorry, but I was a bit disturbed by this situation,” Conte stated.
