There is a certain majestic grandeur that is exemplified in the Competitive football, English Premier League to be precise. 

This is witnessed in the lives that the footballers showcase, with multi-million vehicles and state-of-the-art mansions. 

A win is often credited to a team's success but as a helmsman steers a ship forward, a manager is vital to the team's victory.

Often are the times we see that managers extend contracts based on their performance resulting in millions added in their account.

According to a list published in international reports, the top ten highest-paid EPL managers have a combined total amounting to trillions. 

Pep Guardiola

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is listed as the highest-paid manager who takes home a whopping Ksh2.8 billion a year. The soft spoken boss loves a lavish lifestyle and is not shy of spending his fortune. He owns a luxurious mansion worth Ksh1 billion in Barcelona. 

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss took over the helm of Man City in 2016 after Manuel Pellagrini left the club.

Jurgen Klopp

Guardiola is closely followed by his rival, Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp, whose annual earnings amount to Ksh2.4.

Klopp has risen after he was ranked eighth during his time as Borussia Dortmund manager. At the time he received a salary of 683 million. 

Antonio Conte

Tottenham FC has had a tough time in finding the perfect coach who would help them traverse through murky waters. 

From the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Espirito Santo, Tottenham seemingly hit the jackpot after signing former Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte. 

Conte currently earns Ksh2.2 billion per annum ranking him as the third most paid coach. He is closely followed by Leicester FC's Brendan Rogers who earns Ksh1.5 billion per year. Rogers has been at the helm of the club since 2019. 

Mikel Arteta

Arsenal FC boss, Mikel Arteta rounds up the top five list with a salary of Ksh1.26 billion. However, as it stands, Arteta may climb up the ranks as he is currently negotiating a new three-year contract at the club, according to United Kingdom publication DailyMail. 

Ralph Ragnick

Manchester United Ralph Ragnick,who recently took over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, earns Ksh1.21 billion a few dollars shy off the top five ranking.

Amassing a 38-year experience in management, he has won only one major honour- German cup with Schalke in 2011. 

Marcelo Biesta

Former Championship winners, Leeds are an unlikely team to be on the top ten list, but their boss, the tough talking Marcelo Biesta tied the same place as Man United with a Ksh1.21 billion.

Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel's experience extends back to 2009 when he took over Mainz 05. He earns Ksh1 billion per annum translating to Ksh83 million per month. 

Southampton's Ralph Hasenhutti and Everton's Frank Lampard earn Ksh914 million and Ksh761 million respectively.

Frank Lampard

According to international reports, Lampard lives a life of luxury and is not shy to spend his millions. He lives in a mansion worth Ksh1.4 billion, he owns a town hall in London worth Ksh1.2 million and owns another house in Surrey worth Ksh107 million.
