This followed following reports that Salah's registration for an education program was rescinded by Egypt's Minister for Higher Education.

In Egypt, military service is mandatory for men aged 18 to 30 years.

Cantona played for Leeds and Manchester United before his retirement in 1997, ending his career on a high with four Premier League titles.
