
On Friday, March 18, Qatar club Al Duhail lifted the Emir Cup for the fourth time after beating Al Gharafa.
Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga was on the score sheet as his side won by five goals to one at the Khalifa International Stadium.
This is Olunga’s first cup with Al Duhail since joining in January 2021 on a three-year contract from Japanese club Kashiwa Reysol.

Al Duhail won the cup previously in 2016, 2018 and 2019.
27-year-old Olunga has been a key player for the Qatari based club with his goal-scoring prolificness and was full of joy after his side lifted the title.
Olunga who spoke to the press praised his side noting that they played the best style of football in the finals.
“It is a special golden jubilee trophy for us and a great way to end the season.
"We dedicate this title to all Al Duhail fans, who have been supporting us. It is a good moment for us all. The management and players put in a lot of hard work,” Olunga stated.
The top striker also won the league's Golden Boot, after scoring 23 goals in the Qatar Stars League.
Olunga has also been nominated for the Most Valuable Player(MVP) award where he will battle out with former Arsenal man Santi Cazorla who now plays for Al Sadd and Akram Afif of Al Sadd too.
