
On Wednesday, April 20, the start of the sale of tickets for the 2022 Kip Keino Classic Continental Tour was announced.
The event will be taking place at the Kasarani Stadium on May 7, with some of the top athletes gracing the event.
In the yearly tour which was launched in 2020, athletes will compete at the Gold level earning both prize money and world ranking points.

Botswana Isaac Makwala who is a 1-time Olympics Bronze medalist, 1-time all Africa Gold medalist, and 1-time Silver medalist in the 400m race is set to make his appearance at the classic.
Also present will be Poland hammer Throw Champion who is also a 1-time Olympic Bronze medalist and 4 Time World Championships Gold Medalist.
One f the anticipated duels will be between America’s 100m champion Sha 'Carri Richardson and Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce who is the 100M Women 8 Time Olympic medalist and 9 times World Championship Gold Medalist
Uganda's 3000M champion Peruth Chemutai who is also a 1-time Gold Medalist and a 1-time Olympics finalist will take part in the event.
Local athlete Celliphine Chespol who is a 3000M champion, a 1-time world cross country bronze medalist, and a 1-time world championships finalist will fly Kenya's flag in the race event.
To purchase the ticket one is required to visit ticketsasa.com with the advance tickets selling at Ksh200. The last day of ticket sale will be on May 7.
On the website, one is required to fill in their name, email and phone number before proceeding with the payment.
