Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino has finally parted ways with French League 1 winners, Paris Saint Germain (PSG), after months of speculation.
Oil-moneyed PSG terminated Pochettino's contracts after 18 months at the helm.
The club made the announcement via their social media pages, noting that the manager and his coaching staff's dismissal was effective July 5, 2022.

"The Club would like to thank Mauricio Pochettino and his staff for their work and wish them the best for the future,” part of the statement read.
Pochettino and his coaching staff are expected to be paid Ksh1.8 billion (€15 million) as a compensation fee.
Despite winning PSG the league title, the former Tottenham Hotspurs manager, fell short of the club's expectations in the Uefa Champions League where he was knocked out by Real Madrid in the Quarter Finals.
Pochettino is expected to be replaced by former Nice Manager Christophe Galtier.
