“The Kenya High Commission London and the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage are hosting a #KenyaHouse in Birmingham, as part of showcasing Kenya at the Commonwealth Games in the United Kingdom.

“#KenyaHouse is a physical set-up for international events where Kenya will showcase its best assets and invite foreign direct investment for discussions on potential engagement,” the statement from the High Commission read.

Among the activities lined up include: celebrating Kenyan culture through art, music and games, paying homage to Kenyan sporting heroes and legends, Kenyan Cuisine, learning about Kenya's tourism destinations and discovering Kenya's commonwealth heritage among other.

At the venue, there will also be a media centre where fans will meet and interact with their favorite sports personalities.

However, due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, physical interactions will be limited and a virtual assistant be provided.

Kenya will also have a chance to showcase her key export products as well as market top tourism destinations.

“The Kenyan High Commission London will offer Consular Services at the Kenya House on August 2 and on August 4," the statement read.
