They were part of the Kenyan squad which pulled out of the 2018 African Games staged in Algeria.
Imran and Ifvan also took part in the 2018 Olympic qualifiers held in Uganda, where they reached the quarter final stage..
It is very difficult for one to differentiate them when they enter a Badminton court.
The only difference for the mombasa-based twins is that Ifvan is left handed while his brother is right handed.
Angella Okutoyi and Roselida Asumwa
Record breaking tennis player Angella Okutoyi has a twin sister named Roselida Asumwa.
Asumwa is equally a talented tennis player and was expected to feature at the 2022 W15 tournament.
The tournament which is recognized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) is currently ongoing at the Karen Country Club and is scheduled to end on November 27.
Vivian Akinyi and Sharon Aluoch
Vivian Akinyi and Sharon Aluoch are another set of twins who play professional football in Kenya.
They have featured for several clubs in Kenya including Mathare United, and Gaspo Youth.
In 2015, they got their maiden call up to the National team, Harambee Starlets.
Apart from playing professional football, Vivian and Sharon are also singers. They have a band known as the Komullo band where they use their melodious voices to entertain Kenyans.
James Kangethe and Joseph Kangethe
The other Kenyan sport personalities who are twins are James Kangethe and Joseph Kangethe.
James and Joseph have played for a number of local clubs including Shamas RFC.
However, they are not expected to feature until 2027 because they were banned by the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) due to indiscipline issues.
The duo who have once featured for the Kenya national team were among a group of players who beat up a referee in a league match earlier this year.
