
Liverpool FC owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) announced on Wednesday, November 7, 2022, that they are open to selling the club provided they receive a right offer.
FSG disclosed that they have received numerous expressions of interest from individuals who would like to purchase the club.
“There have been a number of recent changes of ownership and rumors of changes in ownership at EPL clubs and inevitably we are asked regularly about Fenway Sports Group’s ownership in Liverpool.

“FSG has frequently received expressions of interest from third parties seeking to become shareholders in Liverpool.
“FSG has said before that under the right terms and conditions we would consider new shareholders if it was in the best interests of Liverpool as a club,” part of the statement from the owners read.
The owners further added that the decision does not impact their commitment to the Merseyside club in any way.
“FSG remains fully committed to the success of Liverpool, both on and off the pitch,” ended the statement.
FSG acquired the club in 2010 from Tom Hicks and George Gillett at a time when the club was in a debt mess.
The John Henry led team are the ones who signed German tactician Jurgen Klopp and the latter has not disappointed them.
In the few seasons that he has been at Liverpool, Klopp managed to guide Liverpool to a number of trophies including a UEFA Champions League and EPL titles
